Bristol International Airport (BIA) is passionate about customer service and the marketing team at BIA sees the Internet as a great tool for enhancing the experience of flying from the airport and gaining feedback from travellers.

That’s why BIA continues to invest in the company’s website with new useful features such as the recently added online executive lounge booking system and the dedicated New York microsite. But it’s not just the website that BIA sees as central to its online strategy…Email is crucial too.

The latest use of Email by BIA is a Welcome Home message that is sent to customers who have booked car parking at the Airport and is timed to arrive just after they have returned from their trip. Customers are invited to take an online survey and as a reward for completing the questions are entered in to a prize draw.

Results so far have exceeded all expectations, with well over 60% of those who open the Email going on to successfully complete the online survey.

3Sixty helped BIA develop the concept, designed and produced the Email and developed the technology to allow the Emails to be sent out automatically using a data feed from BIA’s car parking operator.
