3Sixty hired to promote studying abroad

3Sixty have won a significant digital brief from INTO University Partnerships Ltd to promote the benefits of a university education in the UK, Ireland and the USA and drive international student recruitment. The work will include the development of new web 2.0 multi-language site as well as natural search site optimisation and will promote higher education to a range of audiences including current and prospective international students and their parents, partners and international education agents.

INTO University Partnerships is a global organisation that works with universities worldwide to help them transform internationalisation strategies and student experiences in universities, through long-term joint venture partnerships. It has over 4300 students have commenced INTO’s academic preparation and English language programmes in 2008/09, and an alliance of university partners in the UK and the US.

This win comes on the back of 3Sixty being nominated the 3rd Most Creative Company in SW England (Aardman Animations in pole position), voted for by regional peers.  Chris Thurling, Managing Director, 3sixty comments: ‘Our work for INTO will focus on the importance of foreign local knowledge and usability testing to ensure the sites are as relevant to the target audiences as possible. Search will play a key role in this and we will allow for video integration to entertain the audience further. It’s a great win for us.’

Tony Lee, Assistant director (digital marketing) of INTO University Partnerships comments: ‘Our project emphasis needs to be on demonstrating the benefits of a quality student experience of studying abroad for 17-21 year olds. We therefore needed an agency that demonstrated a sound knowledge of this audience and that could design a web presence to reflect the social media generation.’
