3Sixty gets a makeover
We've given our site a fresh lick of paint and added a couple of new features.
The site is now integrated with "Twitter", a "micro-blogging" tool that allows us to send updates ("tweets") on what's happening in the 3Sixty studio directly to our home page. If you're not familiar with Twitter, it's a bit like the "status update" in Facebook and LinkedIn. I think this is the kind of thing that people are either really in to or they just don't get at all. Whatever my personal opinion of people who spend their life "Twittering", we think that micro-blogging is gaining ground and we're going to be interested in how our "tweets" are received.
The other social media (Web 2.0) tool that we've integrated in to our site is Flickr (bottom right hand column on the home page). We're using Flickr to host the photo library that we've been building up for five or six years now. Most of the photos aren't work related, but we've found that when we've featured a gallery on a previous version of our site that a loyal audience has visited us regularly just to see the latest photos.
We hope you like the new site and would be interested in your comments...good and bad!
